About
PYRUS is a botanical studio and Victorian walled cut flower garden, established in 2011 by founders Fiona Inglis and Natalya Ayers in East Lothian near Edinburgh.
The intention was to grow unusual, scented blooms for our own creative practice; flowers we found frustratingly difficult to source in Britain. The cutting garden quickly became a passion and the journey from seed to bloom is central to our creative practice.
Endlessly inspired by the patterns and rhythms of nature, we are also influenced by poetry, perfume and land art. Working across the mediums of contemporary horticulture, photography, installation art and events, we have built close relationships with other creatives, brands and private clients throughout the UK.
